"The Stolen Sun"
Stolen Sun will appeal to the large international audiences that have enjoyed classics such as Gladiator, Braveheart, Apocalypto, The Last Samurai, Dances with Wolves, Mongol, The Last of the Mohicans and the ongoing TV series, The Game of Thrones...
A Celtic warrior, now a peaceful man, embarks on an elemental journey into the heart of darkness to save his stolen son.
The year is 600 BC and Britain is still hundreds of years away from being occupied and conquered by the Roman Empire. Dramatic climate change is ravaging Briton, causing suffering and instability. Starvation is rife, but the new hunger is for iron and power.
In the South, as the days grow lighter, a tribe forages and fishes to feed its people… a tribe of the sun. Then, one day, a marauding Northern tribe invades this Southern tribe, slaughtering whomever they find. After his mother is slain, a young boy is taken to be sacrificed to the Sun God on the Summer Solstice.
Through his grief, an adoring husband and father becomes a reluctant but relentless warrior, who sets out on a spiritual, elemental quest to avenge his wife, fight the Northern tribe, and save his stolen son.
